Actually Love This Kit

This is a perfect starter kit for aspiring tattoo artists. It comes with everything you need to get started which is great and for a really affordable price, like... insanely affordable lol. Surprisingly enough the tattoo gun isn't terrible either which I wasn't really sure of because I have never seen a wireless gun before but it seems to be decent enough for practice work and I am sure it would be adequate for the real thing in the right hands. Mine are not the right hands lol. I do not have a lot of experience with actual tattooing but have been dabbling for the last couple years in my spare time here and there. The practice skin is good though I wish it came with more than one but even coming with one is pretty cool, the transfer paper works great as well and you get a few of those sheets, and then the needles are all great quality. Honestly more than anything I am surprised we have come this far in the tattoo world, growing up in tattoo shops I never thought I would see a day where wireless guns and entire starter/training kits would cost 28 dollars. This is amazing and for anyone that might be interested I would highly recommend checking this out, or if you have teens or kids that are artistic and want to get into tattooing this is a great present to get them started. I plan to give this a shot with an actual tattoo sometime in the near future. I will do my best to remember to come back and give an update on how that works out. ... show more

Well made starter set

So this kit is a completer starter one. The machine runs smooth, fits cartrides well and will push up to a 15mag well. The carbon paper is good as well as the needles and skin. The battery powersupply is simple but puts out steady power and is not to heavy . Machine adjust needle stroke easily while holding a firm stroke. This is a swash wheel style machine which is excellent for precision detailed tattoo styles. Great starter kit!

For the money, this is a very good kit for beginners, I myself probably wouldn't use this one on skin, but for practicing on some thick fake skin it's great! The kit comes with ink as well and don't freak out if you don't see the gun, it's inside the roll of transfer paper on the left, just take the end plugs off and slide it out. ... show more

Great for practice

I've been practicing my hand at tattooing using fake skins, and this tattoo gun has really helped in my learning process. It is a pretty simple machine to use as there aren't really that many settings, and "just works". It was compatible with all the needles I tried and battery lasted several hours before needing to be charged (which takes awhile). Overall a nice tool to practice this trade with, and while I do plan on upgrading when I get better, was super useful for me to start out with. ... show more

Very cheap

This is not a tattoo pen I would use even as a beginner. It’s very cheap and you can already hear the grinding of the gears. The battery might be the worst battery I’ve ever used. It barely holds charge and I don’t think it’s using the right voltage. I would avoid this set. You can get a way better one for $50. ... show more

Okay kit, not for use on humans but okay for practice or trying out tattooing.

I was very skeptical getting this kit for such a low price point, and I can definitely say that the quality is not as high as other tattoo machines or kits, but for the price you get a decent little battery and the pen machine is okay. A battery alone will normally cost more than this whole kit, which is why I ordered. The pen had some little quality control issues, like it had way too much grease when you remove the grip and the opening where you insert the needle cartridge was not very clean. I would never use inks from a kit like this for tattooing people, but if you are interesting in tattooing and are low on money, this is an okay kit to give it a try. Definitely only for use on practice skin or oranges. The cartridges are surprisingly nice but I will be checking them over as I have my doubts on quality control. Overall you get enough stuff you try tattooing a tiny bit, but you should definitely not use this kit for tattooing people. The machine is hidden inside the transfer paper tube

The first thing that jumped out at me as i unboxed this kit was how compartmentalized everything was inside the box. Everything has its own compartment in the box. It’s organized and presented orderly instead of just being thrown in the box. Neatness counts. For such a low price point, you get a good amount of stuff. It’s a basic starter kit at a low price. The machine btw is hidden inside the transfer paper tube, so when it arrives to you, don’t think they didn’t include the machine, like i first thought. It’s just hidden inside the tube the transfer paper is wrapped around. The battery that comes with this machine is portable instead of being integrated like most are, so that’s a plus. The machine is easy to operate and the display is bright - information displayed in blue LED on a black background. The lowest voltage oddly is 4.2v (most go down to 4v, but this one doesn’t.) The machine runs quietly with next to no vibration. There is one caveat though. When you’re running the machine and you want to turn it off, most machines require you to press the power button to stop running the machine, then holding it down to turn off. This machine does NOT do that though. This machine requires you to hold the power button down while it’s running in order to turn it off. I just found that interesting as most machines are not like that. Then again, this is under $30 so you get what you pay for. I think this would be a good introductory kit for someone wanting to try this out to practice with that doesn’t want to break the bank but i don’t see a serious artist using the machine, maybe the accessories but not the machine. ... show more

This is a complete beginners kit. The machine and battery are great as is the grip & paint containers. The fake skin however is not of the best quality. For practicing this set is great but if doing a tattoo on an actual person I would suggest changing out the needles for higher quality ones as well as the paint. ... show more
