Potion Permit: How to Make Money and How to Sell Potions (2024)

Selling potions and making more money in Potion Permit go well hand in hand, so today I’m grouping these two in a single article that will help you get filthy rich in the game.

This means that we’ll learn all the ways you have at your disposal for making more money in Potion Permit, as well as full guide for the best method of them all: selling Potions.

How to make a lot of money in Potion Permit

The best way to make lots of money in Potion Permit is from selling potions. Many of them are relatively easy to make and sell for a fair amount of coins.

The more advanced the potion, the more money you will make. Potions sell for anything between 120 to 500 coins per potion. Now that’s a lot of Gs you can get!

However, there are other ways for you to make money in the game and, depending where you are at with your progress, these methods could prove to be very viable. Let’s check them out below!

1. Completing Quests and Tasks

This will probably be the first and easiest way to make some extra coins in Potion Permit, although the rewards are not consistent and usually on the lower end. But you have to start somewhere, right?

While not all quests will reward you with money, the Town Hall will always have board requests that will pay you for completing those tasks.

In order to complete a task from the Town Hall board, simply place the required items in the Drop Box next to it and you’re done!

2. Curing sick villagers at the Clinic

This is what you do, in the end, so it makes sense to receive some sort of payment for it.

In order to cure the villagers, you will first need to diagnose them and then use a Potion to actual heal their problem.

This will always give you a reward that’s higher in value than the value of the Potion itself, so you’re always making a profit.

Plus, you’re getting extra Moon Clovers for every patient healed, and those items are really useful for improving your relationships with the in-game characters.

3. Getting some part-time jobs

There are three part time jobs always up for the taking in the game: at the Town Hall, the local Church and the Police Station.

Each part time job will consume 2 hours of your time and you will have to successfully complete a minigame in order to for the part time job to be complete.

You will make 125 gold coins per each job and even though that’s not a lot, it does add up and can help you get out of a sticky situation if you don’t have other options available.

But I have to repeat: selling potions is the best way to make tons of money in the game. Just focus on creating heaps of one specific one (even the Tier 1 potions add up to nice amounts) and sell them daily. Money problems solved!

How to sell potions and other items in Potion Permit

As you have probably seen in my previous article where I listed all the Potion Permit potions, they can be sold for a lot of Gold coins.

For example, if you fully upgrade your Post Drop Box (which is where your potion selling will happen – but more on this later), you can sell 24 basic Sun Drops potion and net 3,600 coins per day.

Not bad for such an easy to make potion! And profit margins can get even better if you start selling the more advanced in-game potions. But until we get there… how do you sell potions in Potion Permit?

You can sell potions (or any other item) by placing them in the Post Drop Box next to your house. Just put them there and the next day, money will come in. Easy as pie!

The Drop Box will not be available from the beginning, but eventually it will be unlocked.

It will have a limited amounts of spots for trading at first, but you can upgrade that up to 24 slots. And 24 potions sold can give you tons of money, as we’ve already seen.

Just make sure that you still have some potions (or at least ingredients) left in order to be able to cure any villagers that need healing.

Wrapping up

Just like most things in the game, making money in Potion Permit is not difficult per-se, but it requires a bit of grinding. Similar to getting Pink Meat, for example, where you have to fish over and over again until you strike lucky.

But at least here you have some variety, so as soon as one thing becomes boring, you can focus on something else for a while.
